Dear my wonderful daughter Goneril, I have made a grave master
Shakespeare presents Goneril as a graceful sister but inside she is a rotten apple with no soul and heart. Goneril speaks soft and gentle, to try to get her father(King Lear)to be convinced that she loves him past the limit, for example;”I love you more than words can wield the matter”.Meaning she cant explain how much she loves King Lear with words, trying as hard as she can to be as charming on the outside but inside she is slowly accepting the darkness into her.Goneril carries on catching her fathers attention by explaining, why she loves him and how much she loves King Lear. For example;beyond what can be valued, rich or rare. This quote means Goneril treasures her father more than loads of money on top of that more then something rare for example; diamonds. Goneril is rebellious because, when you are a girl in Shakespeares time you have a short period of time of learning time. You are taught to

This play is giddy, satisfying, magnificent and a masterpiece. This inquisitive script is so good that the first time it was seen everyone in the crowd was dumbstruck.I am going to talk about the characters, and how they are different also which one gets the land and how.In the opening scene,King Lear wants to know how much his daughters love him,but my he was wrong.
Goneril describes her love as wield and undeniable, for example;”I love you more than words can wield the matter”.But Goneril is dishonest and despicable. She does not care about her father, because she only cares about the land he is offering her. Also she says,”beyond all manner of so much I love you”.First why would she say beyond all manner if she is not trying to over exaggerate King Lear(her father),to give her the land.Secondly why would you say”I love you”,at the end of a phrase, unless you are trying to convenience a loved one for example;your father.Either way it caught the vision of King Lear.
The next daughter was Regan. She was even more devious and spoilt on top that information she is also disorientated, with her family. The reason why I said she is family disorientated is because she insults her sister by saying,”Only she comes too short” just for land.Regan is thoughtless and mischief she only cares about the land, same as her sister,Goneril.Regan ends her speech by saying”In your dear highness love”.Why would she say”highness?”Why would she say
